Cheesy Movies

I must say, I do enjoy a good cheesy movie, and not even like the kind that you know what happens before it happens.  I like the low budget movies that try to show big screen quality, but the story moves so quickly because "time is money" and the longer the movie, the more money it costs.

I just watched Bollywood Queen, it's a movie that moves quickly,  James McAvoy is in it.  I've found a fancy for him ever since I saw Into the Wild.  Either way, I thought that Bollywood would be quite entertaining, but frankly I thought it was a cute cheesy movie.  A bit of a Romeo and Juliet story line that moves so quickly you really need to keep up with it.

I hope is next Romeo & Juliet plot turns out to be a bit better.  It's a movie called Gnomeo and Juliet and has a very similar plot.  Good for him, always enjoy a movie with Mr. McAvoy.

Red Bull Flugtag

I traveled into the city (which I just absolutely love doing) and we got down to North Avenue Beach for the Red Bull Flugtag.  We weren't anywhere close to the actual ramp, but we did get to see all the flights from the HUGE screens that were set up on the beach for the event.

There were SO many people there.  I love big crowds like that, I have more fun doing nothing.  I'm a huge people watcher and I really enjoy just see different faces, different clothes, how people interact with others, etc. etc.

Unfortunately, I forgot my video camera in the car, back in my home town.  So I didn't get any footage of the event, but that's ok, cause the memories are good enough for me.

Have a good weekend.

Stephen, you got two in a row

Stephen, I know who you are too. That's what confused me when you made that comment. Maybe because I look in the mirror all the time, and I analyze what I look at ALL the time, that when I look at the picture you attached, I see no one that looks remotely like me. Maybe I should go on the show, how to look good naked. Maybe when I look in the mirror, I don't see what everyone else sees.

Who knows.

Thanks,
Bryan

This one's for Stephen

there are about 300 million people in the United States and out of that crowd, you're the only one that stands out and recognizes me for who I am.  Who'd a thunk that I'd be noticed.  Well, come to one of the shows sometime and maybe we can meet.

Only joking.  Actually, I'm not Chris, I'm Bryan.  born the Name Bryan Michael Clemente in Chicago, IL and raised in the suburbs of the Windy City.  Schaumburg is where I reside, with plans to move out and a whole world to explore to find the place I'll someday call home.  I'm at University, studying Fashion Design and will be finishing up this December.  Plans to continue?  yes, someday, but not a year or so.  I'd like to find a stable job that I don't mind getting up in the morning to go to.  I love my job, but it's so... repetitive, to say the least.  As you may have told from previous posts, I enjoy sewing and creating one-of-a-kind casual wear garments.  T-shirts are my preference, as they are the easiest to make.  And probably to most purchased clothing item in the country.

Sorry I'm not who you thought I might have been, but either way, I hope you enjoy what I have to say.

And It Continues

Still ill and it's not getting any better.  In fact, it's getting worse.  It started in my nose, a little congestion that I could blow out and it would be gone for several hours.  I didn't think anything of it.  Then... it took over my nose and before I knew it, I was blowing every 15 minutes.  Today, I woke from bed to find myself in excruciating pain.  I couldn't feel but the chapped skin around my nostrils and the dryness of the back of my throat.  I could feel the congestion in my chest and every time I coughed, it felt like the fire from a thousand dragons.  My voice, deeper than usual, a bit more scratchy and definitely more hoarse, but at least I still have it.  Right?

All day I've been popping pills like it's my job.  Every 4 hours I reevaluate the situation and determine the worthiness of increasing the dosage of medication.  Is it worth it?  will I get better from this?  "1 pill every 4-6 hours. do not exceed 4 pills in 24 hours"  Do that mean after 4 for the day I should switch to another brand?  will that work?

I took a tablespoon of NyQuil.  I thought it was supposed to make  you drowsy and want to sleep.  Quite the opposite for me, wouldn't you say?  Here I am, laying in bed, trying to get a little shut eye and nurse myself back to health, but all I can do is open my eyes, and run my fingers across my keyboard in hopes that the words being formed from my fingertips makes sense when it's all finished.
